As we all know winter is one of the beautiful season and it does come with its pro and cons. One of its cons you might experience in winter season is dryness on your face and body. You can specially feel it after you take bath with warm or hot water. It feels uncomfortably tight on the skin of face, scalp and body which even give rise to itchiness.Dryness on any part of the body don’t give healthy and pretty picture.

Everyone want healthy and glow look in winters on their skin. People with oily skin type quite enjoy winter because this natural glow gives a very pretty and younger look. Makeup look even better when natural oil on face come through. Face and scalp has most of the sebaceous glands not other body parts though.

Despite the fact you have oily skin you might feel dryness on your body. This dryness case is worst with people who already have the dry skin.applying make during this season becomes a little tricky because your make-up looks like a muddy cracked mask on your face. As it is not very easy to get rid of this stubborn dryness. This article will guide you through some hack and trick to avoid these problem.

Here are some easy hacks and tips to follow:

1-Exfoliation and cleansing:

First thing we can do is adopting good skin care routine. Which involve exfoliation and cleansing which come first as our skin needs it the most in winters season. Get some good exfoliation product or simply you can prepare it at home with gram flour, sugar or honey etc. Make sure you don’t go harsh with scrubbing and be gentle with your skin. So try to exfoliate your skin a day before applying makeup especially if you have nay big events. cleanse your skin every day especially after removing makeup.

2-Moisturizer:

Moisturizing, moisturizing and moisturizing. This is the best key to avoid dryness on your skin once for all. You need to change your moisturizing product as well than using the same you  used in summers. In winters our skin needs more hydrating ingredients. You can also prepare your moisturizer at home like given in link. also apply a good body lotion on your whole body after taking baths so you do not get uncomfortable dryness

3-Apply hydrating primer:

If you use primer as an important part of your makeup routine then try to wear hydrating makeup. This will further help in smooth application of foundation. Avoid using extra matte primer even though you have oily skin. Even oily skin produce less sebum in winter so so you also need to change your primer in winters season.

4-Use serums or essential oils:

Do not only use moisturizer for daily morning routine but try to get serums, essential oils and night cream. Get these products which are extremely hydrating with hyaluronic base ingredients that can add maximum moisture to skin overnight. You feel extra smooth and glowing skin next morning.

5-Use cream foundations instead of powder ones:

Creams foundation might smooth out your dry flaky patches and does not irritate it. It will be best to apply some sheer hydrating foundation. If your skin is very oily and you are using some matte or full coverage foundation then add a little bit of moisturizer or hydrating primer in It. This trick will make a huge difference in application of your foundation. Avoid using too much powders as it absorbs the natural oils of the skin and make it look very dry and lifeless around winter season.

6-Use hydrating mist or setting sprays:

If you want to keep your make long-lasting in winter season then setting spray are better than powders. As sprays and mist reduce the flakiness on your face and it absorbs the excess powder and textured foundation.

7-Mix essential oil in your foundation:

If you have full coverage or matte foundation and you want to work with it in winter seasons. Then you can add a few drops of essential oils like argan oil or almond oil and you can make your foundation more hydrating and give your skin a healthy glow.

8-Use beauty blender or sponge instead of brush:

As we know that brush go a little bit harsh on skin than a beauty blender. Brush can raise the dry patches on skin and application of foundation is not as smooth as it suppose to be. Try to use damped beauty blender to avoid this problem as it is a dab motion so there are less chance for dryness to get visible.
