The ordinary Vs pixi glow tonic, which one is better for textured skin?
People with big pores either they are men or women know this struggle. Big pores never look so pretty as they give textured and aged looking skin. Big pores are more often essence of acne and textured skin or clogged pores also come along with it. If you are young with big pores so it is difficult to look very young. There are various causes of big pores on which top of that is oil skin. Yes! Along with many drawbacks of oily skin, big pore is also one of them and it is quite serious.
Big pores may also cause by aging or sun damage. It is not just limited to oily skin. Genetics also play quite the major role in it.Male tend to have bigger pores than women and this why today this article will lighten up a home remedy for both.
In this article, I will tell you my personal experience with toner. I have been using quite many toner that are raved aloe and are very famous. But not all the produced being raved about are as good as they say. Sometimes it also depends on skin type as what is suitable for someone else skin may cause breakout on mine. So you always have to give a try to new products otherwise you might never know. As It also for people who live in humid area or work in kitchen in all. They tend to have bigger pores regardless their gender and skin type.
The ordinary 7% glycolic acid toning solution:
At first I was reluctant to use this toner as there were mixed reviews by people. Some people even said that it did nothing for their skin. Well it was totally different in my case. The best part for this toner is that it has almost the same pH as our skin. I have noticed one thing for sure that I never experienced breakouts while using this. I don’t know the reason that if it help to control the breakout or it is not irritating to my skin so I didn’t break out. I don’t know for sure about this point.
This toner has a higher level of glycolic acid and it might sting to your skin especially around summer weather. Your skin might feel warm as well by using it but that’s the thing I feel that my toner is working on my skin.
I have this very oily skin but still get this dry scaly patches that I can feel while touching on my skin which is weird. But after using this toner I have never felt any scaly patch on my face and it feels smooth and clean instead.
So I had a great experience with this toner and I will totally recommend you guys to use it. Furthermore, it is quite a big bottle and it lasts forever. You can use it once a day as I usually use it at night while applying my skin care products. If your skin show sensitivity or anything to is use then rinse off your face immediately.
Pixi glow tonic exfoliating toner:
This is my second favourite toner as it is as good as my the ordinary one. I have seen in reviews that people say the ordinary toner is its closest dupe. I am not sure about that I didn’t feel the best difference like I did with ordinary one. But still it is a good toner and it also help my skin in staying smooth. I never felt any dry patches with its uses as well.
Furthermore texture or big pores need some higher concentration of glycolic acid but this one has only has 5% which might work for non problematic skin. As they don’t need much peeling and light peeling can do good for you. But if you have problematic skin then it might not as good as it will work for normal skin.
Furthermore, if I compare the price rate of these two then this one also stays behind. Because of its high price, less percentage of glycolic acid and a bit higher PH make me vote for the ordinary toner.
