Winter season is notorious for dry skins as any good oily skin can become affected with this season. It also depends the how much temperature drop to the area where you live. If you live in area where it snows heavily then your skin become even more vulnerable. Cold temperature and dry climate withdraw all the natural and good moisture from your skin. Applying makeup on such skin is very difficult as it cakes out on skin. If you do heavy moisturizing a night before going out then next day your skin will be much smoother and without dry patches.

People thinks that winter sun is not that intense like in summer so it is okay to avoid sunscreen. But it not true as winter sun is less intense but it still have UV rays coming through. So never miss out the moisturizer with sunscreen before going out in sun. Exfoliation is also very important to take off dead skin cells and apply a heavy moisturizer to make it smooth and full of glow.

This ingredients are usually vitamin E based which will protect your skin from dryness and wrinkles. This will lock the moisture into your skin and keep it hydrating for long time.

 

Here are some easy steps to make this moisturizer at home:

 

Ingredients:

  • Aloe Vera gel

  • Good moisturizer

  • Vitamin E capsule

  • Coconut oil

  • Beeswax

 

Method:

First of all you need 200 mg of coconut oil or one cup of coconut and pour it into a pan. Then add 2 and half tablespoon of beeswax in it and put this pan on stove. Give it very low heat so all the beeswax gets dissolved into the coconut oil. Then leave the oil for some time to get a bit cool down then pour this coconut oil in a grinding machine or use a beater that is even better. Add 4-5 teaspoon of aloe Vera gel and 5 capsules of vitamin E. beat this mixture well for a minute at least. Then put this in refrigerator for 10 minutes and this mixture will get even thicker. The beat the mixture again for 3-4 minutes so the whole mixture get into a thick creamy mixture.

At the end add 2 teaspoon of any good moisturizer that could be of any kind. Make sure that it suits your skin the best then beat the mixture again. And your winter moisturizer is ready and pour it in some suitable container for daily convenient use.

 

Use:

You can use it every day and night. Apply it heavy amount before going to bed and rinse off your face in morning. If you have dry to combination skin then you can also apply it before makeup for healthy and sheer glow. But if your skin is very oil try to apply very less amount so it can absorb any dry or dead skin cells. Or you can avoid it before makeup if your skin gets too shiny after applying it with makeup.

Its daily use will help you to get rid of any dry patches or dull skin.
