Mint as microbial and anti-fungal properties that prevent our skin from getting any infection or treat already existing infections. It control the growth of natural bacteria so they do cross the limit zone. Actually when balance of natural occurring bacteria gets disturbed so it gives rise to different kind of infections. Regular use of mint reduce these chances to minimum.

Used in skin care products:

It is used in so many skin care brands and products. Even it is being used for so many years in home remedies for skin care. As mint has natural nutrients that are involved in detoxifying. Mint is one of the best ingredient to cleanse the skin and reduce the inflammation of pimple. It is also used in many exfoliating masks and moisturizers.

Mint is also an awesome thing to reduce dark spots, blemishes and dark circles under the eyes. In this way it improve the appearance of your face complexion.


Method for mint serum:



  • mint leaves

  • Rose water

  • Almond oil

  • Glycerin

  • Vitamin E capsule

  • Aloe Vera gel




First of all you need to take fresh mint plant branches and separate the leaves from it and wash it properly. Then put handful of mint leaves in a grinding machine and add 2-3 tablespoon of rose-water. Then grind them til it makes a smooth paste then filter it through a strainer to get its pure essence as shown in the picture. Now that your mint essence is ready and we will mix other ingredients in it to make a serum.

Take 3 tablespoon of mint essence and add half teaspoon of glycerin in it. Then add one teaspoon of almond oil and one teaspoon of glycerin. At the end add half cup of rose-water and 2 capsules of vitamin E. shake the mixture well and your serum is ready now.

You can use it daily at night and store it in room temperature or in refrigerator.


First Method for mint pack:




  • mint paste

  • Yogurt

  • Gram flour



You can easily get mint paste by simply grinding it with a little bit of rose-water in a grinding machine. Use it without filtering to get its essence as well. Now mix the half tablespoon gram flour with one tablespoon of mint paste and one tablespoon of yogurt. We do not have to follow any strict measurements for it. Mix the mixture well and your mint pack is ready as shown in the picture.

You can use it once or twice in a week. Make the fresh mint pack every time you want to use it but you can store mint paste in form of small cubes in refrigerator. Furthermore you can also massage it gentle and circular motion to use it as an exfoliater.


2nd method for mint pack:




  • mint paste

  • Turmeric powder

  • Yogurt


You can prepare this by take half teaspoon of mint paste and half teaspoon of turmeric powder. Add half or teaspoon of yogurt to make a smooth paste. Mix it well and your face pack is ready.

You can apply this twice or thrice a week daily. Make it fresh every time you want to use it.


3rd method for mint pack:



  • mint paste

  • Honey


You can prepare this pack by simply adding one teaspoon of mint paste with half or one teaspoon of honey and mix them well. Your pack is ready.

Use this pack one or twice a week. You can use either of the pack and make it daily routine for your skin care regime. These packs and serum can make a huge difference in your skin within a month.
