Many people are not aware of the sunscreen in our daily life. Even though people who realize its importance but still the do not use it as often as they should. Our most of the problems of skin came from UV damaging rays of sun and most of them get worse by it. As sun rays cause oxidation process on our skin cells and cause emission of free radicals which change the DNA of a cell. That results in changing cell chemistry, it become poor in performing its function.

Also apparently we can see the dull , dark /red (sun burnt) and premature age skin. That is why sunscreen which play quite a role in protecting put skin from these harmful rays. For this we really need a strong antioxidant in our sunscreen.

This article will guide you how you can make your own sunscreen at home by very easy step as mentioned below:



  • Flaxseeds (gel)

  • Water

  • Sesame oil

  • Aloe Vera gel

  • Vitamin E capsule


First of all you need to take handful of flaxseeds and dip it 2 glass of water. Now keep it overnight to get a little bit of its soft texture. Then put this mixture in a pan and put on very medium flame for half an hour.

The take it off from pan and let it cool down a bit. Make sure it remain a little warm for our next step because it starts to settle down in gel form when it is not warm or cold.

Filter this mixture and get it juice in a bowl. After that add 2 teaspoon of aloe Vera gel in a bowl or glass with two capsules of vitamin E. at the end add 7 tablespoon of flaxseed juice in it. You can now add most important ingredient for sunscreen which is two tablespoon of sesame oil. Beat it with a beater or with your spoon for 2 minutes.


Now put it in some suitable bottle and let it further settle it into a thick consistency as well. Your sunscreen is ready



You should not only use it when you go out in sun but you should also use it even when you are in doors. Because during the day light UV rays are not only outside the house but they are also inside and that are damaging your skin in slow indirect process. Keep its use a normal routine in your daily life.





Sesame oil provides a natural sun protection. It contains SPF from 5-10. if you think the chemicals are no good for skin or scared to use synthetic sunscreen the change it to a natural alternate. But for this you also do the wear test, if you don not get any particular reaction then your are safe to use it.


It actually stop or reduce the oxidation process because of being expose to the sun. Sesame oil has this properties because of abundance of vitamin E presence in it. It work as a strong antioxidant and reduce the formation of free radicals that play havoc on skin.
