Now put them in a blending machine and add half glass of water and blend it until almond and dates makes a homogeneous mixture with milk. You do not need to add additional sugar but if you like more sweet drink then you can add it according to the need. At the end add, half glass more and blend it and your shake or drink is ready as shown in the picture.
How to store it?
It is better to make the fresh drink every time you want to have it so try not to store it. If you have to then you can store it for 6-8 hours in fridge as it won’t get spoiled but it won’t have the fresh taste.
When to have this drink?
As now days are Ramadan so you can have it half /glass in pre dawn meal or 2 hours after iftar. As it is give your maximum energy boost that you usually need during this time. Moreover, it is also good for people with diabetes but you can decrease the quantity of dates. Only add 2-3 dates and 4-5 almond for one glass.
If you have the problem regarding weight or trying to loss weight then you can have 2-3 glass per week. You can have this drink in alternate days but if you are underweight and you are trying to increase few pound then you can have it even every day.
